With crowds of over 1,000 visitors each weekend, this event can’t happen without the support of our dedicated volunteers! Get into the holiday spirit by joining us for this festive holiday event at Heritage Hill.
Please note at sign-up any preferred volunteer duties or accommodations needed. Staff will do its best to accommodate requests but will assign volunteers to the area of greatest need.
Front Desk Volunteer – 4 volunteers needed
· Be the first welcoming face guests encounter!
· Check-in guests via two entry lines:
o Pre-paid ticket line – use the VIP list to check guest names off upon entry
o Purchase ticket line – sell tickets for the evening event
· Give directions such as:
o Which ticket line to utilize (pre-paid or purchasing)
o Restroom location
o Where retail, entertainment, food, and park entry is located
Retail Volunteer – 2 volunteers needed
· Help guests do their holiday shopping
· Ring up and bag sales
· Tidy and restock the retail area as necessary
Outdoor Way Finder – 4 volunteers needed
· Stationed outside the Education Center to point guests down the hill
· Stationed outside Fort Howard to point guests to the Fort festivities and the luminary walk around the park
· We will have flashlights but feel free to bring your own if you wish
· Dress warm!
Concessions Assistant – 2 volunteers needed
· Help make and deliver cocoa to the sales area
· Assist in restocking other beverages as needed
· Tidy the food and drink area as necessary
