Looking to volunteer with friends and help a great cause? Look no further!
The UWGB Campus Cupboard and Clothing Closet is actively seeking volunteers to help with the Clothing Swap. The Clothing Swap is an event run in cooperation with the Campus Cupboard and the Pride Center to distribute NO-COST clothing and household items to students, faculty and staff with UWGB. Gently used and some brand-new items are donated by many gracious campus community members with the goal of finding these items a new home.
If you have 30 or more minutes to spare, please volunteer to set up on Tuesday, March 26, from 8 AM to 3 PM, or to pack up on Wednesday, March 27 from 1 PM to 4:30 PM. You do not need to stay for the entire duration of the shift. Any amount of help is welcome.
Clothing Swap - Event Assistant
We are looking for volunteers to help welcome in and count visitors, fluff/rotate clothing and household items on tables, and help with any needs that may arise during the Clothing Swap. Training will be provided at the time of the event. You do not need to be available during the whole event, but any time you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
Volunteers may move donations and products around. Volunteers may be communicating with visitors. Volunteers may need to remain stationary and move around the event space as needed. Volunteers are welcome to come and go as necessary. Community members are welcome to help, but youth will need to be supervised by a parent or guardian unless arrangements have been made with Cupboard staff.
