HOPS on the Hill is a Summer Fundraising event for Heritage Hill.

Craft beers, BBQ, raffles, auctions and MORE will fill the park for this 21+ evening! Learn more about one of the biggest events of our summer season here! Then join in on the fun by signing up for one of our multiple volunteer shifts!

Event Time: 5:00 PM- 8:00PM

Volunteer Information  

We will have a mandatory meeting the evening before to go over job responsibilities, conduct, and over job responsibilities for the event. This will take place Wednesday, August 2 from 5:30-6pm.

A shirt will be given that is required to wear for the event. You will be able to take part in the catered meal, as well as enjoy the festivities AFTER your job is completed.

All volunteers will work alongside staff the night of the event - so we'll be here to help and answer questions throughout your shift!

Volunteer Positions:

YOU WILL BE PLACED IN A POSITION WHEN YOU SIGN UP. IF YOU HAVE A PREFERENCE, PLEASE LET US KNOW IN THE "NOTE" BOX UPON SIGN-UP. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Check in Area

CHECK IN/ FRONT DESK , 3:45-6:45pm (total 8): Check people in, collect tickets, check IDs, put on wrist bands, direct participants to event location

      Areas Stationed: Gate 1 (4+) and Education Center (up to 4), indoor volunteers to help outside as needed

      This is a perfect volunteer role for people who can't stand for long periods of time - your welcoming faces are needed here!

 

In Event Area

TANK BARN MOBILE GIFT SHOP, 3:45-7:15pm (total 2): Check out guests who purchase items in mobile gift store, help maintain store appearance

RAFFEL/ AUCTION, 3:45-7:45pm (total 6): Work with staff to maintain raffle/auction area and assist with bids and entries as needed:

           Auction (total 3): Help keep an eye on auction area and assisting with online auction platform as needed

           50/50 (total 3)– walk around event area collecting money and handing out tickets for 50/50

 
PARK FLOATER, 3:45-8:15pm (total 3): Direct guests to event, restock supplies as needed, clean tables, and basically help keep the park looking its best!

FOOD HELPER, 3:45-7:15pm (total 2): Collect food tickets in the buffet line
