Wise Women Gathering Place seeks Safe Parking Lot Program Volunteers
Safe Parking Lot Program Volunteers lend a critical pair of eyes and extra set of hands within the safe parking lot program. Advocates and other WWGP staff are onsite to admit guests and provide resources. Volunteers will provide the valuable service of a constant presence within the parking lot, for not only guests, but also all staff & neighbors residing near the parking lot.
Responsibilities:

- Help monitor Safe Place Parking location during all types of weather.
- Greet guests with friendly, welcoming manner.
- Show care, consideration and concern for each guest.
- Help assert safe social distancing practices.
- Help keep grounds and communal areas clean and disinfected.
- Report concerns to on-site staff.
Qualifications:
- Able to work with diverse groups of people and have the ability and confidence to engage with guests of all ages.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be knowledgeable of and sensitive to the history and current culture of the community. Using culturally sensitive language at all times, as well as trauma informed wording.
Commitment/Hours:
Our safe parking program runs from 6 pm to 8 am. Shift lengths and times vary based on volunteer availability. Volunteer can serve regularly with weekly recurring shifts.
