Help care for Rawhide’s horses and equine facilities, creating a safe and nurturing environment for youth to engage in equine-assisted activities. Your time and dedication support the well-being of our horses and the success of our programs.
Essential Responsibilities
- Horse Care – Assist with feeding, watering, and grooming
- Facility Maintenance – Clean stalls, paddocks, and equine areas
- Health Monitoring – Observe and report any concerns about horse behavior or well-being
- Session Preparation – Help prepare horses for equine-assisted activities
- Program Support – Assist staff with equine-related sessions
- Equipment Organization – Maintain and organize equine supplies
What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience with horses or equine care is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow equine care standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to Rawhide’s mission.
- Ability to pass a background check
