As a private, non-profit organization founded in 1979, Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence program responding to the needs of victims and educating our community regarding the prevalence, effects and prevention of domestic abuse.
What We Do
Golden House provides intervention and support services for victims of domestic abuse and their families through a 24/7 telephone helpline, individual crisis counseling, legal and personal advocacy, support groups for adults and children, mental health therapy, transportation assistance and a continuum of housing programs including temporary emergency shelter.
