Who We Are

Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Since 1870, the YMCA has had a presence in Green Bay. Through our long history, we have stood for caring, respect, and responsibility and advocated to create and build strong children, families, and communities.

At the Y, we’re more than a gym, we’re a community. At the Y, you are part of something bigger than yourself. The Greater Green Bay YMCA is a cause-driven, nonprofit organization that strengthens the foundations of our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. At the Y we know we aren’t simply in the community, but a part of it, and when we strengthen others we strengthen ourselves. We seek volunteers who desire to join the Y movement and be part of our community of service.

What We Do

We offer everything from swim lessons, to youth sports, to dance, to gymnastics, to youth specialty!

We have worked side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone—regardless of age, income, or background—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through programs and services at our 6 centers.
