Who We Are
Mission: To empower educators and inspire learners.
For over three decades, the Einstein Project, a nonprofit organization, has provided leadership in transformational change in STEAM education in Wisconsin. Our hands-on materials and curriculum not only promote quality learning in science, technology, engineering, aesthetics and math; they also help develop a student’s soft skills and foster curiosity. In the last few years, major national collaborations have exponentially increased our impact.
Our 3 Pillars are:
- Enabling Excellence in STEM Education for All Learners
- High-Quality Instructional Resources & Transformational Professional Learning Experiences
- Immersive Design Thinking Experiences
What We Do
Einstein evaluates, purchases, and maintains curriculum and instructional materials in our warehouse for teachers in k-8 classrooms to use. The teachers are provided with almost everything that they need for easy classroom use. With volunteer support and community-based work programs for adults with disabilities, our team also completes many of the steps necessary to prep materials for classroom use. As we work with educators that teach the units, we also find ways to supplement and enhance units beyond what is provided by the publisher. As teachers use the materials for instruction, consumable items can simply be disposed of and non-consumable items are returned to the kits. Teachers are provided with ample time to complete instruction before the units are due to be shipped back to our warehouse for cleaning, refilling, and shipment to another classroom.
