Who We Are

The mission of the Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore is to be a single source of information, assistance, and access to community resources for the aging population, people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers in the Kewaunee and Manitowoc County communities.

What We Do

We serve primarily as a walk-in and phone resource for elderly and disabled residents of Kewaunee and Manitowoc County, assisting with Medicare, nutritional needs, long and short term care, dementia resources and support, and caregiver assistance. We hold evidence-based health and wellness workshops that help residents aged 60+ learn pivotal skills to prevent falling, increase balance, and learn better nutritional skills, and we also hold a workshop that is for caregivers to learn better skills for taking care of themselves. Another aspect of our services is our senior dine-in meals and our Home Delivered Meals, both of which provide meals to our senior population and serve as a way to help combat malnutrition and social isolation in our communities.
