Volunteer: Become a Volunteer Advocate for residents of long term care!

Need a flexible volunteer opportunity? Enjoy visiting with older adults? Have an interest in bettering the quality of life of residents of nursing homes or assisted living communities?

Consider becoming a Volunteer Advocate in Green Bay or the surrounding areas!

Volunteer Advocates visit a local nursing home or assisted living community, have friendly conversations with residents, and encourage and support residents to express their views and wishes!

A visit typically lasts between 1-3 hours depending on the preference of the volunteer. Completion of a background check is required and training is provided.

No experience volunteering in a long term care setting? That's ok! Ongoing support, mentoring, and education is provided.
