Opportunities From: University of Wisconsin - Green Bay

Volunteer: Be someone's voice! Become an Advocate for residents of long term care!

You can make a difference for people living in skilled nursing homes and assisted living facilities!

We are looking for Volunteer Advocates in Brown County and surrounding areas to join our team!

These advocates visit a local nursing home or assisted living community, have friendly conversations with residents, inform them about our agency and about how we can help ensure residents' rights, and encourage and empower residents to speak up about issues that are important to them.

This volunteer opportunity is flexible. Visits to a volunteer's facility are made weekly and can be done anytime between the hours of 8am-8pm, any day, with no advanced scheduling. A visit typically lasts between 1-3 hours. Completion of a background check is required and training is provided.

No experience is needed - ongoing support is provided. *Next new volunteer training is scheduled for February of 2026. Reach out for more information and to apply!
