Volunteers will get to see the impact of their work with hands on projects for homeowners in need at homes in Allouez, Aug. 17-21 and Green Bay, Sept. 21-25. Work such as landscaping, yardwork, painting, gutter cleaning and repair, power washing are common. Some include skilled labor such as door hanging/repair/trimming, installing handrail/safety bars, window repair/replacement, fence, deck and siding repair. Lead project coordinators will be available to guide the work and skilled handyman/professionals are always welcome to share their knowledge and expertise to educate both the volunteer and homeowner.
Individuals and organizations/businesses with a group are welcome. We are open to work with an organization/business who has a group but is unavailable to volunteer during the 2 specified Good Neighbor Week dates of August 17-21 in Allouez and September 21-25 in Green Bay in order to help as many homeowners as we can-we received 53 applications.
