In need of a volunteer to help facilitate Rent Smart for three months when our Aftercare Case Manager is on maternity leave. Rent Smart is a class that teaches adults experiencing homelessness about how to become good renters, how to communicate with landlords, and understand tenant and landlord rights. The class is already designed and ready to be implemented, the current instructor has video recordings of the lessons. This volunteer(s) would start and stop video recordings of the lesson, help facilitate conversation, and ensure residents are signing in and out for class.
Classes are Tuesday nights 6-7:30pm or Wednesday mornings 9:30-11am - But we can also adjust these days and times as needed if we find the right volunteer!
