Celebrate the longest day of the year and experience a beautiful relaxing summer evening in the Growing Community area of Heritage Hill. Park seating is limited, feel free to bring lawn chairs or a blanket, OR purchase a tented picnic table! Doors open at 5 pm, Music begins at 5:30 pm!

6:45 – 8:30 pm: Kate Voss & The Hot Sauce
Food available by Caribbean Cruiser and The Bacon Burger Co.
Bar by Heritage Hill featuring wine, beer, and canned cocktails by Dean Distributing! Soda and water will also be available for purchase
No food or beverage carry-ins will be allowed. This event is rain or shine.

Front Desk Check In: FULLY STAFFED
Shift Hours: 4:30-7:00

Shift Description: Located at the Education Center, this position will work closely with the our front desk staff members to help guests enter the event quickly and efficiently
- Greet & Register: Welcome attendees warmly, register them efficiently, and collect any required payments.
- Provide Information: Offer event details, distribute materials, and address attendee inquiries.
- Manage Flow: Ensure smooth attendee flow, troubleshoot issues, and assist those with special needs.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with fellow volunteers and staff for seamless operations.
- Security Awareness: Stay alert for security concerns and emergencies, following event protocols.
- Feedback & Adaptability: Provide feedback for process improvement and adapt to changes during the event.
Gate 3 Check In: FULL STAFFED
Shift Hours: 4:30-7:00
Shift Duration: 2.5
Shift Description: This position will be stationed down in the park, under a tent for event attendee check ins. This person will work closely with other staff members to ensure a swift and efficient check in process.
- Greet & Register: Welcome attendees warmly, register them efficiently, and collect any required payments.
- Cash Handling: Assist as needed with cash transactions using the POS system
- Provide Information: Offer event details, distribute materials, and address attendee inquiries.
- Manage Flow: Ensure smooth attendee flow, troubleshoot issues, and assist those with special needs.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with fellow volunteers and staff for seamless operations.
- Security Awareness: Stay alert for security concerns and emergencies, following event protocols.
- Feedback & Adaptability: Provide feedback for process improvement and adapt to changes during the event.
Heritage Hill Ambassador:

Shift Description: As a Heritage Hill Ambassador during events, your primary responsibilities revolve around engaging with attendees and representing the park in a positive light.
- Welcoming Attendees: Greet event attendees warmly as they arrive, serving as the friendly face of Heritage Hill.
- Providing Information: Share your knowledge about the park's history, attractions, membership benefits, and upcoming events with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Answering Questions: Be prepared to answer questions from visitors about various aspects of the park, including its history, exhibits, and facilities.
- Promoting Engagement: Encourage attendees to explore the park further by highlighting its unique features, exhibits, and special programs.
- Assisting with Sign-Ups: Assist interested attendees with membership sign-ups, event registrations, or other park-related activities as needed.
- Directing Visitors: Guide visitors to different areas of the event or park, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Maintaining Professionalism: Represent Heritage Hill professionally at all times, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and a positive attitude towards visitors and fellow volunteers.
- Collaborating with Team: Work closely with other ambassadors and event staff to ensure smooth operations and provide mutual support throughout the event.
- Adapting to Event Needs: Be flexible and adaptable to changing event dynamics, tasks, or requirements, ensuring that visitor needs are met effectively.
Bar Assistant:
Shift Hours: 4:30-9:00
Shift Duration: 4.5
Shift Description: Assist Heritage Hill staffed bartenders with bar restock, cash handling, and other miscellaneous bartending assistance duties. You may be relieved earlier depending on need, at which time you are welcome to enjoy the event.
- Restock & Clean: Keep the bar stocked and tidy throughout the event, ensuring a clean and organized environments
- Customers: Provide friendly assistance to attendees, helping with drink orders and inquiries if needed
- Team Support: Collaborate with staff to maintain smooth bar operations.
- Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to safety protocols for handling drinks and maintaining cleanliness.
