Encampment Tram Driver

Expired

Description

As a tram driver, you will be responsible for picking up and dropping off visitors in various locations around the 56-acre park during special events like our annual French & Indian War Encampment on the weekend preceding Labor Day. You'll enjoying shuttling guests from the top of the hill to the back of the park so that they can enjoy this 1750s-1760s historical encampment! Visitors will learn about the daily life of French and British soldiers, the Manual of Arms, and enjoy musket firing demonstrations with the Redcoats in Green Bay. Reenactors will bring the 18th century trades of sewing, basketmaking, weaving, and woodworking to life. Get an introduction to Fraktur, the art of Pennsylvania German writing along with period games and dancing. And tram volunteers will be free to explore all this after the completion of their shif!

A valid driver's license required as well as a short Tram Driver Course (provided by us prior to your first tram driving shift).
