Volunteer Job Positions & Responsibilities
Product Pourers
Shift Start 6:30pm (3.5 hours)
- Familiarize yourself with your bourbon stations tasting information printouts
- Answer questions to the best of your ability - use your tasting information tools
- Maintain 1/4oz pours for each cup
- Remind event attendees to check off your station on their tasting cards and to utilize their notes space
Disclaimer: Due to the low quantity and high cost of the sample products, volunteers are prohibited from tasting the products. A strict pour count is enacted to ensure product last for number of guests. This shift is on an as needed basis. Bartender license or experience is preferred.
Front Desk Check In
Shift Start 6:45pm (2.5 hours)
- Smile and Greet All Attendees
- Please ask for the name of the reservation
- Confirm name and ticket amount
- Verify all members of the group are present
- Cross off attendee from list
- Collect payment as needed for day of purchases
- Guide attendees to tasting station
Heritage Hill Wristbands must be put on designated driver and non- tasters attendees. Green will be non-tasters. Orange will be designated drivers. Designated drivers will NOT be served and must wear a wristband
Event Runner
Shift Start 6:35pm (3.5 hours)
- Assist with restocking of coffee/ water stations.
- Assist with restocking pairing station/ charcuterie table.
- General checking areas/ tables/ floor/ bathroom etc. remain clean and restock.
- Additional assistance with event lead as needed.
Event Prep
Shift Start: 4:00pm (3 hours
- Room set up
- Prepping food for charcuterie table.
- Additional assistance with event lead as needed.
