You will come together with our construction team to learn about Habitat and how we build homes for first-time homebuyers before getting hands-on experience. From sanding handrails to installing cabinets, time spent on a Habitat build site is sure to be a learning opportunity. No prior experience is necessary. Bring a passion for helping neighbors find affordable housing solutions and a positive attitude. We will take care of the rest.
- We advise all volunteers to wear long pants and a shirt they do not mind getting dirty.
- We require closed toed shoes.
- Please dress according to the weather given that you may be going in and out of the house.
- We provide all tools and safety equipment like safety glasses and gloves.
