Help us spread a little bit of cheer to those incarcerated at the Brown County Jail by writing Easter cards to them! Each year, one of our spiritual leaders organizes this effort to spread hope. The jail is over capacity with more than 800 individuals--we hope to get a card to each person! Because there are strict rules for correspondence in the jail, these are the guidelines for this volunteer opportunity:
You may buy cards from your local store (we suggest the dollar stores) or make them handmade with plain white paper.
- NO envelopes
- NO stickers applied
- NO glitter
- NO markers
- NO crayons
- Sign each card using your First Name Only with a ballpoint pen.
- Please PRINT any notes you wish to include on your cards (some have a hard time reading cursive).
Deadline: All cards must be received by April 10th, 2025. Contact coordinator@joshua4justice.org or (920) 301-0022 for pick up or drop off.
