Volunteer: Grief Group Co-FacilitatorDo you have the desire to be a part of the grief support that Unity provides? Have you considered helping out with a support group? Unity’s bereavement department is looking for volunteers who are interested in being a co-facilitator for our grief support groups. Opportunities include being a co-facilitator for an ongoing monthly group that meets the third Thursday of each month or for a 5-week Navigating Grief group that meets on 5 consecutive Tuesdays . These opportunities are for both afternoon and evening groups.
Other Opportunities include: Assistance with set up of our Generations Grief Group with is held the 2nd Thursday of every month at 5:15 pm (This grief group includes Children and Adults)The bereavement team will provide education and training on the topics of grief and group facilitation prior to having you participate as a co-facilitator. You will always have a trained Grief Counselor or other designated trained Unity staff member as your co-facilitator who will also provide ongoing support to you during these volunteer opportunities.
