Join Our Drop-In Day Breakfast Server Volunteer Team at St. John’s Ministries!

Want to make a real difference—brightening someone’s morning while helping fill their stomach? St. John’s Ministries is seeking friendly and enthusiastic Breakfast Server Volunteers at our Men’s & Women’s Shelters during our Tuesday/Thursday Drop-In Days to help create a welcoming, nourishing start to the day for our guests! As a Breakfast Server, you’ll be part of a compassionate team that serves a warm meal and genuine hospitality to those who rely on our support.

As a Breakfast Server Volunteer, you will:

Serve Breakfast: Use our items to heat and serve a hot nutritious meal to guests, ensuring they start the day with a satisfying breakfast. Greet and Engage Guests: Welcome guests warmly and build rapport Maintain a Clean Serving Area: Assist with light cleanup after the meal Work Together with the Team: Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to create a positive and efficient experience for guests.

The role of a Breakfast Server is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Mornings are busy, and every breakfast served helps our guests start their day with a sense of hope and belonging. Your presence is a bright spot in their day, and your kindness makes an impact that’s more than just a meal.

At Wellspring, our daytime resource center for women, you can make a real difference—brightening someone’s morning while helping fill their stomach! St. John’s Ministries is seeking friendly and enthusiastic Continental Breakfast Servers on Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays to help create a welcoming, nourishing start to the day for our guests! As a Continental Breakfast Server, you’ll serve a continental meal and genuine hospitality to those who rely on our support.

As a Continental Breakfast Server Volunteer, you will:

Serve Breakfast: Use our items to heat and serve a simple continental meal to guests, ensuring they start the day with a meal. Greet and Engage Guests: Welcome guests warmly and build rapport Maintain a Clean Serving Area: Assist with light cleanup after the meal

The role of Continental Breakfast Server is ideal for those who enjoy connecting with people and meeting a tangible need. This roles is great from solo volunteers or pairs. Mornings are busy, and every breakfast served helps our guests start their day with a sense of hope and belonging. Your presence is a bright spot in their day, and your kindness makes an impact that’s more than just a meal.

Join Our Front Desk Volunteer Team at The Micah Center and Wellspring!

Are you someone who excels at multitasking and enjoys connecting with others?

St. John's Ministries' daytime resource centers, The Micah Center and Wellspring, are looking for enthusiastic Front Desk Volunteers to be the welcoming face of our organization!

As a Front Desk Volunteer, you will:

Greet guests warmly and assist with sign-ins Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff or resources Provide assistance and answer questions from guests Schedule appointments with case managers Sort and distribute mail to our guests

The Micah Center offers a vibrant, fast-paced environment where you'll be at the heart of the action, welcoming guests who can access resources and take steps forward in their journey. Every day is dynamic, with a constant flow of activity that keeps you engaged and energized. Wellspring provides a more serene and connection-focused atmosphere, where the slower pace, allows meaningful interactions with guests. Here, you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships and offer a listening ear in a supportive and caring space.
