Our finance committee is comprised of board members and non-board members. It is chaired by the Treasurer of the board and meets six times per year. Meetings consist of the review of monthly financials, development and maintenance of finance related policies, review of audits and the 990, support of annual budgeting process and more. Achieve Brown County (ABC) is looking for members to join their fundraising committee. The committee's primary purpose is to support and implement fundraising activities on behalf of ABC. Members will partner with staff on donor stewardship activities to thank, inform, engage, and invite donors. While the meeting schedule is not yet set, the days and times will be flexible (at a minimum, will meet quarterly).

Possible shifts before and after meetings: 6:30-7:15am, 9:15-11am, 11:30am-1pm. We are seeking volunteers to help with set up and take down for early morning, midday, or afternoon meetings. Set up would include gathering meeting materials from various locations, adding them to a cart and using an elevator to bring them to a meeting room. Once in the room, set up with include moving chairs and tables, setting out nametags, placing agendas at each seat, setting out snacks/food, making coffee and other miscellaneous tasks. Take down will include cleaning and resetting the meeting room, gathering all our items, and putting them back in the proper places. Meeting sizes vary but typical room set-up is for 10-25 people. Training will be provided, and checklists exist for volunteers to follow. We typically have 1-2 meetings per week which require set up support. This would be a great opportunity to do solo or with a friend. You can help us once or be a recurring volunteer for days and time that work well for you.
