To celebrate Aldo Leopold, deemed the father of wildlife ecology and modern conservation, the JOSHUA Environmental Justice Task Force invites you to be a part of a reading of Aldo's "A Sand County Almanac." This is a public reading for those who would like to attend, free of charge. What you can expect: activities for kids, snacks and light refreshments, and environmental organizations sharing their information. We are seeking volunteers to read passages from Aldo's book to the event audience. Volunteers will receive a free copy of "A Sand County Almanac." We currently have an active Transformational Justice Committee & Spiritual Leaders Caucus.  In 2024 we will be adding our Housing Task Force once again, along with an Integrated Voter Registration Team.  We are currently looking for leaders to run the Housing Task Force and Integrated Voter Registration team.
