Description

If you are purchasing perennial plants from the New Leaf Foods Bountiful Branches Sale, and have questions about the best ways to plan, plant, and take care of these special food producers, this class is for you!

Join Dillion Weist, the manager of the Bounty Garden for the Sustainable Food and Agriculture Systems Associate Degree Program at NWTC. He will guide you through the answers to your questions and more. You must register for the class to be sent a link that allows you to join. This is a hybrid class.

Learn the answers to these common questions and concerns:

Which plants should I select?

How far apart should I space the plants?

What kind of soil fertilizer might I need?

How do I maintain and prune the plants?

What are the best options for weed control?

When can I expect my first harvest?

What kind of habitat do they prefer?

What are the mistakes I should avoid?

How long will they last?

How can I preserve the harvest?

We hope to see you there at the Brown County Central Library on April 3rd, 6-7:30pm!
