Who We Are

Mission: To connect the community with wildlife and nature through engaging, interactive experiences.

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is one of few AZA accredited zoos in the country that does not receive tax support for our operational costs. This means that the zoo is fully self-funded; we rely on support from our community in order to exist. This includes support from visitors, donors, and volunteers.

What We Do

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is northeastern Wisconsin’s only Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) accredited Zoo. We are dedicated to conservation and education and strive to be the area’s best destination to inspire appreciation and stewardship of wildlife and the natural world.

We are located 10 miles northwest of downtown Green Bay, within the Brown County Reforestation Camp and the Brown County Parks System. The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park and Brown County Reforestation Camp together function as a 1560-acre recreational area serving over a half million visitors each year and providing ample opportunity for year-round adventure and fun.
